A set of four 3D printed resin AIM-120C AMRAAM missiles in the C-7 version, 1:72 scale. It is not an aircraft kit but an external stores accessory with a faithful shape of the body, the seeker section and the control surfaces, for replacing the simplified plastic missiles.
The AIM-120 AMRAAM is an American active radar-guided medium-range missile. Compared with the earlier variants, the C-7 version has shortened control surfaces and improved electronics. It is carried by modern Western fighters such as the F-15, the F-16, the F/A-18, the F-22 and the F-35. Its typical feature is a slender body with small control and tail surfaces.
Wash the print resin residue off the parts, cut them from the print supports and clean them up. They are bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). The body is usually light gray with colored bands; an airbrush and fine masking are recommended.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
