A resin accessory from the Reskit brand in 1:48 scale. It is not a model but a set for building two examples of the American AGM-65 Maverick tactical air-to-ground guided missile, each with a LAU-117 launch rail. The set is intended as underwing armament for plastic kits of combat aircraft that carried this weapon, for example the A-10, the F-16, the F-18 or the AV-8B Harrier.
Accurate castings give a model realistic underwing armament with fine detail of the missile body, the seeker head and the launch rail, which tends to be better than the weapons from the box. Two missiles let you fill the typical pair of pylons.
Wash the resin parts to remove any mold release agent, cut off the casting blocks and sand the surfaces gently with respiratory protection. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Paint the seeker head and the missile body according to the particular version and user. It is an accessory for more experienced modelers.
The set contains the resin parts of two missiles. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
