The set contains four 3D-printed resin aerial bombs weighing 1000 pounds in the low aerodynamic drag configuration, in 1:48 scale. It is an aftermarket accessory for plastic kits that refines the external stores.
British thousand-pound general-purpose bombs were among the basic armament of tactical aircraft. The low drag form had smooth tail fins for release from a greater altitude and at higher speeds. These bombs were carried by a range of British combat machines of the second half of the 20th century.
Wash any uncured resin off the parts, cut the 3D print supports off and sand the surfaces with respiratory protection. Bond with super glue. Apply a primer, paint with an airbrush and pick the surface out with washes and markings if you wish.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
