Reskit 1:48 exhausts for the Bf-109G (G-2, G-6, G-10, G-14) is a resin, 3D-printed set of exhaust stacks with hollow openings that replaces the solid plastic parts.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is not an aircraft kit, but a resin, 3D-printed detail accessory. The set contains exhaust stacks for the late versions of the German Messerschmitt Bf-109G fighter, specifically the G-2, G-6, G-10 and G-14 variants. The replacement exhausts have a faithful shape and finely rendered hollow openings of the kind that are hard to achieve on plastic parts.
The Bf-109G was the most widespread version of the legendary German fighter of the Second World War. The rows of exhaust stubs along the sides of the engine are a conspicuous and often sooted feature that calls for careful execution and a color transition on a model.
Wash the parts free of print resin residue and separate them from the print supports. They are bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate); sand with respiratory protection. Paint the exhausts in a combination of metallic and rusty brown shades and add pigments for a burnt and sooty effect; ideally fit them before closing the fuselage.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
