A resin (3D printed) engine exhaust nozzle for the F-104 S / G-late Starfighter fighter in 1:48 scale. An accessory for the Kinetic kit, not a model of the aircraft.
Responsibility details are not available.
A detailed engine exhaust nozzle made by direct 3D printing from resin by the manufacturer Reskit, intended for a model of the American (and widely Italian-built) Lockheed F-104 Starfighter fighter in the S and late G versions in 1:48 scale. The variant is conceived for the kit of the Kinetic brand. It is a resin replacement for the rear end for more experienced modelers, not a separate model of an aircraft.
The late versions of the F-104 (S and G-late) were powered by the General Electric J79 engine and their exhaust nozzle differs in detail from the early machines. A faithful rendering of this late nozzle therefore corresponds to precisely these particular versions of the Starfighter.
Wash the print resin residue off the parts, remove the print supports and sand the surfaces with respiratory protection. Glue them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). You will bring the inside of the nozzle to life by layering metallic and heat-discolored shades and a fine wash.
This is a resin accessory. The base model of the aircraft, the glue and the paints are not included in the package.
