Eduard B-17G Flying Fortress anti-glare panels 1:48 is a masking set for spraying the anti-glare areas of a model of the four-engine bomber, in the shape matching the machines from Vega production.
Responsibility details are not available.
Self-adhesive masking templates from Eduard for spraying the anti-glare areas on a model of the B-17G bomber in 1:48 scale. This variant of the set is cut to the machines from the Vega plant. These are not masks for the glazing, model parts or a kit: the template only marks out the shape of the dark area that you spray over a finished base coat.
The B-17G was built at three plants at the same time and there were small differences between their output, among them precisely the extent and shape of the anti-glare areas ahead of the cockpit and on the engine nacelles. A modeler building a particular machine from a photograph therefore has to choose the form matching the production series in question. This set covers the Vega form, and Eduard offers the other forms separately.
For modelers of large bombers in 1:48 scale who care about the correct shape of the anti-glare area for a given production series. It suits building a particular machine from a period photograph.
This is a modeling accessory. The kit, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
