An accessory set from the Ukrainian manufacturer Reskit with faithfully rendered main and nose landing gear wheels for F-35A and F-35B models in 1:48 scale. It is not an airplane kit but a detail accessory that replaces the simplified plastic parts from a kit. The wheels are cast in resin with a sharp tire tread pattern and fine hub detail.
Wheels tend to be one of the most closely watched places on a finished model. A resin replacement gives an F-35A or F-35B model a more accurate tire shape and a true rendering of the hubs, which lifts the realism of the landing gear as a whole.
Wash the mold release residue off the parts, separate them from the casting blocks and glue them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). The tires and the hubs are easy to mask and paint separately. Protect your airways while sanding.
The accessory set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The airplane model itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
