This is a resin 3D-printed set of a complete cockpit for models of the Lockheed Martin F-35A Lightning II fighter in 1:48 scale. The detailed edition replaces the cockpit out of the box with a faithfully printed tub, an instrument panel with its coaming, a control stick and a throttle. It is not a kit of the aircraft but a premium detail set for advanced modelers.
The F-35A Lightning II is the single-seat land-based variant of the fifth-generation fighter, with an emphasis on stealth and integrated avionics. The cockpit is characterized by a large-area touchscreen, which 3D printing captures crisply and faithfully.
Wash the parts free of print resin residue and separate them from the supports. Fitting them usually calls for no great modification of the plastic parts. Glue them with cyanoacrylate and paint them once a primer has been laid down; bring the details out with a drybrush and a wash.
This is a standalone accessory. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
