The set contains two 3D printed resin replicas of the GBU-15(V)1, 2/B glide guided bomb in the version with large wings (Big Wing) and one AN/AXQ-14 data link pod. This is an accessory for external stores, not a kit in its own right. The parts are supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The GBU-15 is an American glide guided bomb with a modular guidance head, television or infrared. The Big Wing version has sizeable stabilizing wings for a longer range after release. The AN/AXQ-14 data link pod provides a two-way data connection between the bomb and the aircraft, thanks to which the operator guides the weapon in the so-called man-in-the-loop mode all the way to the hit. The weapon was carried by machines such as the F-15E or the F-111.
Wash the parts free of release agent, separate them from the supports and the casting blocks and glue them with super glue. Carry out sanding with protection of the airways. Primer is recommended; the bodies tend to be in shades of military green or gray.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
