Colored printed cockpit elements for the German He 162 jet fighter in 1:48 scale, prepared for the Dragon kit. The elements are transferred from the backing paper with water.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Heinkel He 162 came about at the very end of the Second World War as a simple fighter that was cheap to produce. The jet engine sits above the fuselage, the tail surfaces are twin, and wood was used to a large extent in the airframe because metals were in short supply. The pilot sat on an ejection seat, which was still far from usual on machines of that time.
Colored elements for the pilot's area, made by 3D printing and carried on backing decal paper. The instrument panel, the side consoles and the harness have both relief and finished color, so the laborious painting of tiny instruments falls away. The set is prepared for the kit from Dragon. The cockpit of the He 162 is small, which makes the instrument panel and the seat with its belts stand out all the more on the finished model.
The elements have no adhesive layer of their own. The part is cut out, soaked in lukewarm water for about fifteen seconds and slid off the backing decal paper into place; do not use a decal softener or a setting solution, as they would attack the printed resin.
The package contains colored cockpit elements. The kit, paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
