A photo-etched set from the Czech maker Hauler intended for building a model of the Soviet T-34/76 medium tank in the 1943 version, produced by Factory No.112 (Krasnoye Sormovo). It contains fine brass parts that replace or supplement the plastic elements. It is an aftermarket accessory, not a model in its own right.
The T-34/76 from Factory No.112 is one of the characteristic 1943 versions, with a cast hexagonal turret. The tank combined the proven concept of sloped armor, wide tracks and a 76 mm gun and was committed to the key battles of the Eastern Front.
Photo-etched parts are separated with a sharp knife, bent over an edge and glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). The set typically covers the engine deck grilles, brackets, fenders or small tool fittings. Degrease the parts before painting and spray them with a primer; the fine pressings come out nicely after a wash and dry brushing.
This is a detail accessory. The base model, the glue and the paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
