About product

Reskit 1:48 UB-32A-73 rocket pods (4 pcs)

The package contains four 3D-printed resin UB-32A-73 rocket pods in 1:48 scale. This is an aftermarket accessory, not an aircraft model; the accurate parts replace the armament from the box and are hung on the pylons.

The real subject

The UB-32 is a Soviet pod for unguided 57 mm rockets; the version for 32 rockets was part of the widespread armament of Eastern tactical aircraft. The pods were used for salvo attacks on ground targets. They were carried by types such as the Su-17, Su-24, Su-25 and other machines of Soviet and Russian origin.

Building and painting tips

Wash the production residue off the parts, separate them from the blocks and the 3D print supports and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue. Sand with respiratory protection. A primer coat, airbrush spraying and picking out the rocket muzzles in a suitable shade are recommended.

Who it is for

  • Builders of Soviet and Russian attack aircraft in 1:48
  • Modelers who want accurate external stores instead of the parts from the box
  • More experienced modelers working with resin

The accessory is supplied as a set of 3D-printed resin parts, unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
