An injection-molded plastic kit of the A-7H Corsair II in 1:72 scale. The A-7H was the land-based form derived from the carrier A-7E version, built for the Greek Air Force. The Hobby Boss model offers finely engraved panel lines, a detailed cockpit and landing gear bays, a multi-part canopy and a generous choice of external stores and tanks. It holds around 180 parts and decals for the Greek Air Force. Take the exact contents from the actual box.
The A-7 Corsair II was an American single-engine subsonic attack aircraft with a powerful turbofan, created for strikes against ground targets. It was marked by its heavy load-carrying ability and its accuracy. Greece acquired the land-based A-7H variant and operated it for decades as the principal attack aircraft of its air force.
Glue the plastic with liquid modeling cement. Apply primer before painting; it is more practical to paint the external stores and the tanks separately and fit them at the end. Finish the cockpit and the bays before closing the fuselage. The Greek camouflage scheme goes on well with an airbrush; a wash will bring out the panel lines and a final matte or satin coat will unify the surface.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
