A set of resin trailing-edge wing flaps for an Airbus A400M Atlas model in 1:72. It lets you build the machine with the high-lift devices fully extended. It is made for the Revell kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
An add-on set from LACI cast in resin, meant to take the place of the original plastic flaps on a model of the Airbus A400M military transport aircraft in 1:72 scale. It renders the position the machine uses for a short takeoff and on the approach to landing. The set serves as a modification of a finished kit, the one by Revell.
The A400M is the European answer to the need for an aircraft between light tactical and heavy strategic transport. It is powered by four powerful turboprop units whose propellers on each wing half turn against each other, which improves its behavior at low speed. It first flew in 2009 and today it serves with the air forces of Germany, France, the United Kingdom, Spain, Turkey and other countries. It can carry a helicopter or an armored vehicle and still work from a field strip.
Rinse the castings before work so that no release agent stays on the surface. Take the sprue gates off by cutting, not by breaking, as the material is brittle. Level the surfaces with sandpaper under running water, and protect your airways when sanding dry. Cyanoacrylate will hold the joint, while two-part epoxy gives more time to line things up. A thin coat of filler primer then evens out the surface under the paint.
In the box you will find nothing but the cast parts of the set. The aircraft kit, paints and glue have to be obtained separately.
