Responsibility details are not available.
This battle set from the manufacturer Italeri carries over into 1:72 scale one of the key moments of the Battle of Austerlitz of December 1805 - the fight for the village of Sokolnice. The package combines a set of military figures with the building of a granary, so that a coherent historical scene can be built from it. Both the figures and the building are supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The Battle of Austerlitz, also known as the Battle of the Three Emperors, is among the most famous victories of Napoleon Bonaparte. The fighting for the village of Sokolnice and its granary was one of the hardest places of the clash between the French army and the combined forces of the Austrian and Russian empires. The set therefore contains infantry and cavalry of both opposing sides of the Napoleonic Wars period.
Clean the small figures of soft plastic of flash and glue them with super glue. For the uniforms, acrylic paints laid down with a brush work well, followed by emphasis with washes and a dry brush. It is advisable to prime the building and the base first and then to add patina with pigments and washes for an impression of the dust and mud of the battlefield.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
