About product

Signal Blue - Vallejo Model Color, 17 ml

The Signal Blue shade is a clean, striking signal blue intended for modeling and hobby use. It is a water-thinnable acrylic paint with high pigmentation that dries matte. It comes in a dropper bottle holding 17 ml, which allows precise dosing and mixing of shades without waste.

Use

  • Applied by brush straight from the bottle; the paint is dense and covers well.
  • For an airbrush it has to be thinned with water or acrylic thinner to a suitable consistency.
  • Suitable for striking areas, insignia, markings and color accents.
  • Shake the bottle well before use for an even distribution of the pigment.

Who it is for

For modelers and artists who need a reliable acrylic blue with a matte finish and easy thinning with water.

A water-based paint. Ventilate when spraying with an airbrush, protect from frost and keep out of the reach of children.

FAQ

Water or acrylic thinner. For brushwork the paint is usually fine unthinned; for an airbrush, thin it to a looser consistency.

Matte. If you need gloss or protection, varnish it once dry with an acrylic varnish to the degree of gloss you want.

Yes, but the paint is dense and has to be thinned before spraying. Unthinned paint could clog the airbrush.
