An injection-molded plastic kit of the twin-engine aircraft Bristol Bombay Mk.I in 1:72 scale from the Czech manufacturer Valom. This edition captures the machines of early production and offers matching decal marking schemes. The package combines injection-molded plastic parts with resin and photo-etched parts. The exact make-up of the contents is described in the enclosed instructions.
The Bristol Bombay was a British twin-engine high-wing monoplane used in the interwar and war years as a transport aircraft and, as needed, as a bomber. The early production machines appeared in the second half of the 1930s and carried the period features of their configuration. It is a rarely modeled subject.
First wash the resin parts to remove the mold release agent and cut off the casting blocks, glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) and use respiratory protection while sanding. Bend the photo-etched parts on a hard surface. Paint the interior before closing the fuselage. The large areas are best sprayed with an airbrush on a primed surface, and the decals go on over a gloss varnish.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
