The set contains pre-cut self-adhesive masks with which the cockpit glazing of a de Havilland DH.94 Moth Minor model in the Coupé version with an enclosed cabin is covered before spraying. It is not a kit and not a set of model parts but an aid that speeds up and sharpens the most delicate part of painting.
In 1:72 scale the glazing frames are very thin and cutting them out of tape by hand is slow and inaccurate. A pre-cut mask sits on the shape of the particular glazing, holds a straight edge and leaves a sharp transition with no paint creeping under once it is removed. The result is a clean frame with no need to correct overrun paint with a brush.
The set suits anyone who is building this type in 1:72 scale and wants the cabin masked quickly and accurately. Modelers who have so far avoided masking glazing because of the labor will appreciate it too. Keep the rest of the sheet with the unused parts in its packaging away from light, so the adhesive lasts longer.
