A detailed resin and 3D-printed set from Reskit meant to upgrade a plastic kit of the F-35B Lightning II fighter in 1:72 scale. It is not an airplane model but a replacement exhaust nozzle for the jet engine. The set is intended for more experienced modelers. The target kit is the F-35B from Tamiya.
It replaces the simplified nozzle from the original kit with an accurate rendering that faithfully captures the petals and the internal structure. The F-35B is the version with a short takeoff and a vertical landing, so the nozzle is one of its most conspicuous features and a detailed replacement noticeably raises the realism of a finished model.
Wash the parts, carefully separate them from the blocks and dry-fit them. Bond them exclusively with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Protect your airways when sanding. Paint the inside of the nozzle in burnt metal shades before the final assembly.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted, as a resin set. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
