The real subject

The Fiat G.50 Freccia was an Italian single-seat all-metal fighter monoplane of the late 1930s, one of the first of its kind in Italian service. It was powered by a Fiat A.74 radial engine and served with the Regia Aeronautica during the Second World War in the Mediterranean, over Greece and in North Africa. It was agile and sturdy, even though its armament and performance lagged behind later fighters.
