A pair of GBU-15(V)21,22/B bombs with the small wing and one pod for transmitting the picture, scale 1:72.
Responsibility details are not available.
Two bombs with the smaller wing block and with them one pod for transmitting the picture from the seeker head. The resin castings replace parts that tend to be simplified in an injection mold or are not in the box at all.
An unpowered glide weapon covers the distance that the altitude and speed of the carrier give it. The advantage is that the aircraft does not have to fly directly over the target and expose itself to fire at close range. The picture from the seeker head is transmitted back into the cockpit and the operator decides exactly where the weapon will land. Aim can therefore be taken at a particular part of a structure, not merely at its outline. The version with the smaller lifting surface differs from the variant with the large wing in its behavior in flight. The operator had to follow the weapon all the way to impact, so after release the carrier did not head straight home but stayed in the area.
The pod usually belongs on a different station from the bombs, so check the position of both loads against the plan of the kit before gluing. It is more practical to paint the castings separately and glue them on last, because under a wing you cannot reach them with a nozzle or a brush. Finally check that both bombs hang at the same height. Asymmetry in the stores tends to be more conspicuous on a finished model than a missing rivet.
The package consists of a pair of bombs and one pod.
