This aftermarket set contains two GBU-62 (JDAM-ER) precision guided bombs together with the matching external pylons for models of Su-27 Flanker family fighters. The parts are printed by 3D printing in resin with fine surface detail and replace the missing or simplified armament of a base kit.
JDAM is an American kit that turns a classic unguided bomb into a weapon guided through a satellite system and inertial navigation. The version with the suffix ER (Extended Range) adds deployable wings, which markedly increase the reach after release. Carrying them on an aircraft of the Su-27 type represents a modern trial or hypothetical integration of Western munitions on an Eastern platform.
First wash the print resin residue off the parts in lukewarm water with detergent, separate the print supports carefully and sand the surfaces. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Protect your airways when sanding resin. A primer before painting is recommended.
The set contains resin parts and is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
