Four figures of deck crew in green jerseys in 1:72 scale from Reskit, composed for the right-hand side of the aircraft.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set in 1:72 scale shows the group that wears the green jersey on the flight deck: the catapult and arresting gear crews, air wing maintenance and quality control staff. It holds four figures, composed for the view from the right of the machine, as a counterpart to the set for the opposite side.
On the deck of American aircraft carriers the green jersey is the color of the technical support. These people prepare the catapult, work the arresting wires, carry out maintenance and the final check, and they move markedly closer to the machine than the staff marked in yellow. Their stance tends to be a working one, often crouching or bent over a piece of equipment.
Keep the green jersey on the lighter and less saturated side, because on deck they fade quickly. Save a fully saturated shade for a freshly issued piece of kit. Then build contrast with a dark base for the coveralls and a white or gray marking on the back, which at a small scale is only suggested as a light patch. The deck surface tends to be greasy, so the lower part of the trouser legs can take a light dirtying.
The package holds the figures. A base, paints and the aircraft model are not part of it.
