An aftermarket accessory from Reskit for models of the pure fighter versions of the F-15 Eagle - the single-seat C, the two-seat D, the Japanese J and the naval N study - in 1:32 scale. The set replaces the plastic wheels with accurate resin parts. Watch out for a mix-up: this set belongs to the lighter fighter Eagle, not to the heavier strike F-15E Strike Eagle, which has different wheels. It is not an aircraft model but a detail improvement of the landing gear.
The F-15 Eagle is one of the most successful air superiority fighters. Resin wheels bring a crisper tire tread pattern, faithfully rendered hubs and usually a hint of tire sag, so that the model settles realistically onto the surface.
Wash the parts free of mold release agent, cut off the casting blocks and level the faces; protect your airways while sanding resin. Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Apply a primer, paint the tire and the hub separately and pick out the tread with a wash.
This is a detail set, not a complete model. It requires the corresponding kit. Paints, glue and accessories are not included in the package.
