Reskit has built a whole family of accessories for the F-105, and this item from it covers the inboard wing pylons in the multiple weapon version. The manufacturer states two pieces in the package, that is a set for both wings. The parts are fitted onto a finished kit and directly shape how the external stores configuration of the model will look; the aircraft model itself is not included in the package.
The F-105 Thunderchief was a single-engine supersonic fighter-bomber from Republic, the largest single-engine combat aircraft of its day and a machine built around an internal bomb bay and the ability to carry a heavy load under the wings. The inboard wing pylons were among its busiest stations, because multiple racks and tanks were hung on them. The design of the pylon differed according to what the aircraft was to carry, so choosing the right type matters for a faithful configuration of the model.
Before gluing, compare the shape of the mating surface with the wing of the model and even out any step with filler. Separate the parts with a sharp knife or a fine saw, sand the surfaces down, degrease them and spray on a primer. Use cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) to join them. The pylons are usually painted together with the underside of the aircraft, so it is simplest to fit them before spraying; a light wash at the end will pull out the parting lines and the attachment fittings.
