A kit of the heavily armored form of the main combat machine from the Japanese animated series Panzer World Galient. It came about in cooperation between the brands Academy and Wave, the plastic is molded in several colors and the parts join without glue.
The 1984 series combined medieval fantasy with technology: knights fight in armored machines called armored troopers. Galient is the machine of the main hero and over the course of the story it receives heavier armament and add-on armor. It is precisely this combat form with a reinforced cannon and a shield that the set captures. The assembled machine measures around nineteen centimeters.
The joints run on polycaps, so the figure can be tilted and set into poses. If you are going to paint the machine, split it into subassemblies before joining it, otherwise you will not reach the inner surfaces. Metallic effects on the weapon stand out over a dark base, and at the end a light touch of edge highlighting with a dry brush helps. Lay the enclosed stickers down only onto an evened-out surface, otherwise bubbles form under them.
In the box you will find plastic parts and instructions, not a finished and painted product.
