A set of photo-etched metal parts intended for detailing a plastic model of the Supermarine Spitfire Mk.Vc fighter in 1:72 scale. It is not an airplane model but an add-on set for an existing kit of this type.
Photo-etch adds fine elements that come out too coarse in plastic: it refines the cockpit interior and supplements small exterior details. The model thus gains a depth and fidelity that you cannot reach straight from the box.
Separate the parts from the fret with a sharp knife and make the bends in a photo-etch bender. They are glued with cyanoacrylate glue. Degrease them before spraying and use a fine primer suitable for metal.
This is an accessory for a plastic model. The model itself, the glue and the paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
