This is a resin replacement for the landing gear wheels, not an aircraft kit. The set offers a more accurate tire shape, a fine tread pattern and rim detail compared with the parts from the base kit. The execution corresponds to the late version. Intended for models of the Su-24M and the reconnaissance Su-24MR in 1:72 scale.
The Sukhoi Su-24, NATO code name Fencer, was a Soviet two-seat attack aircraft with a variable-geometry wing. The Su-24M version was the advanced strike variant and the Su-24MR served for tactical reconnaissance. It was a heavy machine with a robust landing gear, on which faithful wheels round out the overall impression well.
Wash the parts free of mold release agent and separate them from the casting blocks. Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Separate tires and rims make painting and masking easier. Protect your airways while sanding.
