Responsibility details are not available.
A resin model of the airfield tow bar for the Su-27 in 1:72 scale from the Russian brand Temp Models. The bar connects the nose landing gear of the aircraft to a tractor and is used when the machine is moved around an airfield. Printing in resin holds even the thin lugs and pins that could not be made from a mold. It is not an aircraft model but an accessory for an airfield scene.
A combat aircraft does not always move around an airfield under its own power. Taxiing wears the engines, burns fuel and is out of the question in the tight spaces of a hangar, which is why machines are towed. The tow bar is fitted onto the nose leg and its shape differs for every type, because it has to match the attachment on the landing gear. On a machine as heavy as the Su-27 it is an honest piece of steel.
Release the parts from the supports with a new blade over a working surface; the lugs on the ends are thin. Sand the marks off with fine abrasive paper, wet. It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Airfield equipment tends to be strikingly colorful, so that it can be seen, and scuffed at the same time, so after the base color suggest scuffs and dust the lower part with a pigment.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The model, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
