Vallejo Model Air Green Brown 17 ml is an opaque water-based acrylic paint in an earthy brown shade with a hint of green, intended primarily for an airbrush.
Responsibility details are not available.
Green Brown belongs to the Vallejo Model Air range, that is among acrylic paints with a water-thinnable binder that are mixed from the factory to a consistency for spraying. The name describes the shade exactly: an earthy brown color pulled toward green, the kind that suits camouflage blotches, soil in a diorama and a base under dust effects. The 17 ml dropper bottle keeps the paint closed and makes it possible to measure it out drop by drop, which is essential when you mix your own ratios.
With acrylics that have a high proportion of pigment one rule holds more than the others: the pigment settles to the bottom. So shake the bottle thoroughly, half a minute if need be, rather than just turning it over a few times. There is usually a mixing ball inside that you can hear — until it moves noticeably, the paint is not yet mixed. Unmixed paint sprays weakly, shows through, and the shade on the model does not match the one on the label. Wipe the neck and the cap before closing, otherwise dried paint will glue the bottle shut.
For modelers who work with an earthy palette and need a brown that looks neither chocolate nor rusty, and for anyone who wants a shade ready to go straight into an airbrush.
Keep out of the reach of children. When spraying, provide ventilation and respiratory protection. Store the paint in a closed bottle and protect it from frost.
