Mr. Color metallic blue-green is a metallic shade with a blue-green tint. A lacquer paint, 10 ml, used on exhausts and heat-stressed metal parts.

Metal parts exposed to high temperatures do not stay silver. On exhausts, on nozzle ends and on heat shields a temper color appears that runs from straw yellow through blue to greenish. This shade captures exactly the blue-green phase and is used where a surface is to look like hot metal rather than freshly polished steel.
The pigment is carried in a volatile lacquer binder, so water-based thinners are out of the question. It can be thinned only with the thinner from this range, in a ratio you check on a test piece. The bottle holds 10 ml. The metal particles settle according to the shape of the surface underneath, so the result depends on how smooth it is.
The effect shows best on the exhaust stacks of radial engines and on the nozzles of jets, where temper colors are clearly visible even in period photographs.
It pays to judge the result only after it has dried completely and in daylight. Metallic shades change their appearance with the angle of the light, so what looks overdone under a lamp may in reality be barely noticeable.
