A light green from the Mr. Color line, suitable for camouflage patterns, interiors and as a starting tone for lightening areas.

Light shades of green are among the most treacherous tones that appear on a model. A little dirt in the airbrush, a remnant of the previous color in the cup or a heavier coat is enough for the shade to shift toward olive. That is why it pays to mix a smaller batch, flush the tool out thoroughly and make a test spray on a piece of waste plastic before you point the gun at a part.
The human eye sees real machines through a layer of air that lightens and bleaches colors. A scaled-down model has no distance at all, so a perfectly faithful shade looks dark and heavy on it. Modelers deal with this through what is called the scale effect: the base tone is lightened slightly, and the more so the smaller the scale you are building. A light green proves itself in such a role both on its own and as an additive with which darker green patterns are lightened.
The boundary between colors is handled in two different ways. A hard transition is masked with tape or with masking putty, while a soft one is sprayed freehand from a short distance and at low pressure, when the stream of paint creates a naturally soft edge. The binder contains solvent, so the paint dries before it can run and the next coat can follow almost immediately; use the product supplied for this line for thinning.
Within this line the shades mix with one another without restriction. Combining them with water-based paints in one cup makes no sense, though, as the two systems curdle into flakes.
