In the Gunze Hobby Color line this paint carries the designation H041, and it is a light green shade in a gloss finish. The gloss keeps the surface smooth and even, so not even a fine relief is lost on it, and light runs across it without matte patches. A glossy coat also serves well as a base under decals, because no air stays trapped under them and the edge does not show up as a light rim once dry.
A light green suits anywhere a surface is meant to look maintained and new: the paintwork of civilian vehicles and machines, accessories and tools for dioramas, science fiction and fantasy subjects, and small interior details. It serves equally well for mixing, when you need to lighten an existing green shade and do not want to reach for white, which always pushes a color toward gray.
Shake the bottle thoroughly before work, so that the settled component is mixed back into the whole volume. Thin it with the thinner intended for this line and in the ratio the manufacturer gives on the packaging. Apply the paint in thin coats and let each one become tacky: one heavy coat floods the detail and dries unevenly, while two or three thin ones give a smooth and even surface. Clean the airbrush and the brushes with the thinner of the same line right after the work, and close the bottle carefully, otherwise the paint dries on the rim and the lid stops sealing.
