A Browning M1919 .30 caliber machine gun in the early version, with the M20 mount, in 1:72 scale. Small separate parts for completing vehicles and scenes.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Browning M1919 in .30 caliber was an American air-cooled machine gun fed from a cartridge belt. In the Second World War it was used by infantry and by vehicle crews and became one of the most frequently seen American weapons of all. The set captures the early version and the mount designated M20.
The set brings the weapon and its mount as separate parts in 1:72 scale. At this scale a machine gun from a kit tends to be no more than suggested, so a separate part makes a visible difference on a model, especially at open gun positions.
Because of the size of the parts, tweezers and a magnifier are in order; in 1:72 scale the barrel bends at almost a touch. Spray the degreased parts with a thin coat of a dark base and only suggest the metallic sheen with a dry brush on the edges. Dose the cyanoacrylate glue with the tip of a toothpick, as a drop from the nozzle is too large here.
The accessory is intended for modelers of vehicles and small scenes in 1:72 scale who want to replace the simplified weapon from the box. The work is fine, but anyone who has glued small parts before will manage it. The package contains no model, figures, paints or glue, unless stated otherwise.
