A set of six replacement wheels for the American M8 armored car and its derived M20 version in 1:35 scale. The number of pieces matches a 6x6 chassis.
Responsibility details are not available.
The light M8 armored car with six driven wheels was among the most widespread reconnaissance vehicles of the American army in the Second World War. It carried a 37 mm gun in an open turret, and alongside it the M20 version without a turret was produced as well, intended for liaison and command tasks and for carrying crews. Both versions stand on the same chassis with three axles, so the set of wheels suits them both.
Six wheels in 1:35 scale, that is the full number for one vehicle. On a model of an armored car the wheels are clearly visible from the side and from the rear, so replacing them shows in the result more than a row of hidden details.
The parts are not polystyrene and glue for plastic has no effect on them; use super glue and degrease the surfaces to be glued beforehand. Spray a primer on before painting. Fit the wheels onto a model standing on a flat base, so that the vehicle finally stands on all six wheels. Shade the rims and the tires in different tones and dust the finished wheels with pigment only after gluing, so that the dust clings in the pattern of the tread.
For builders of American reconnaissance vehicles in 1:35 scale who want to improve the most exposed part of a model. The package does not contain the model, paints or glue, unless stated otherwise.
