A set of two 3D-printed resin figures of Russian Air Force personnel in 1:72 scale from Temp Models, carried as set number 8. The number of pieces is given by the name itself, which in this line is rather an exception. It is not an aircraft model but figures that give a diorama its action and its sense of scale.
The sets of figures in this line capture both flight and ground personnel in ordinary situations around a machine: during the preparation for flight, talking by the landing gear or working on the cockpit. In a warm climate the clothing is simplified to light overalls, so the figures look more casual than in full flight gear. For a diorama it is exactly this ease that is valuable, because the scene does not look posed.
The parts are held only by the thin supports from the print. Cut them off with a sharp scalpel as close to the part as possible, sand the marks with fine abrasive paper and protect your airway while sanding. It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Lay a thin coat of primer under the paint. When you build several sets into one scene, keep the same shade of overalls on all the figures.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the aircraft model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
