True Metal Iron is a metallic wax paste from AK interactive. It is applied with a finger, a soft cloth, a cotton swab or a brush in a thin layer and once it has set it is polished to a metal shine. It is not an airbrush paint or a liquid paint for thinning. The Iron shade is a dark steely gray color of iron, suitable for cast iron and steel parts, tools, tracks and worn metal surfaces. The paste comes in a tube and is intended for smaller areas with the impression of bare metal.
For modelers who want the look of bare iron without an airbrush, with a paste applied by hand and polished to a shine.
This is a wax and solvent based product: work in a well-ventilated area, and gloves are recommended when applying it with a finger, because it stains the skin. Keep out of the reach of children.
