True Metallic Metal BASE - Dusken Green

Vallejo True Metallic Metal BASE, Dusken Green

Dusken Green is a base metallic tone from the True Metallic Metal (TMM) line by Vallejo. This water-thinnable acrylic with a fine metal pigment gives a surface the look of a dark green metal alloy. The TMM line is a system: each family has a BASE tone (full coverage), a LiGHT highlight, a satin non-metallic SHADE and an airbrush variant. BASE forms the carrying layer of the effect. The bottle holds 18 ml.

Use

• Shake the bottle thoroughly before use so that the metal pigment is stirred up from the bottom.
• The best effect comes over a smooth, dark ground, ideally over a black or dark primer.
• Applied with a brush or an airbrush, thinned with water or with Vallejo acrylic thinner.
• Apply metallic paints toward the end, as they are harder to mask and to overspray.
• Deepen the effect with the LiGHT highlight and the satin SHADE from the same family.

Who it is for

For painters of figures, fantasy and sci-fi models, accessories, weapons and armor who want a darkly metallic look without painting metal by hand. Suitable for beginners and advanced painters alike.
