Responsibility details are not available.
The Farm People set belongs to the line of scenic accessories of the American brand Woodland Scenics for HO scale (1:87). It holds figures of people from a rural setting, modeled in detail and hand-painted. It is not a kit and not an unpainted casting; the figures are finished and ready to be set on a layout or in a diorama straight away.
Farm buildings, a silo, a paddock or a loading ramp by an industrial siding come across as a backdrop without people. Figures in country dress draw them into the action: figures caught at work, in conversation or in motion give a scene time and a story. Because these are separate pieces, they can be distributed across the whole farm and animals, tools or small freight from other sets of the same line can be added between them.
Place the figures in twos and threes, not evenly over the area, because people cluster in reality. See to it that the figures look somewhere where something is going on and that their position matches the terrain. They are glued down with a spot drop of cyanoacrylate glue, and for removable scenes PVA glue is enough. The gloss of the paint can be evened out with a light spray of matte varnish, and a pinch of pigment on the shoes and trouser legs settles a figure into its setting. Shades may differ slightly between production runs.
The figures are supplied finished and hand-painted. Glue, paints and a base are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
