Number Five Fulvia HF Red is the red bodywork shade of the competition Lancia Fulvia HF. A 30 ml bottle for the airbrush.
Responsibility details are not available.
A saturated red from the bodywork palette of Number Five in a 30 ml bottle. The paint is solvent-based and comes in a consistency for spraying straight onto car models with an airbrush.
The shade takes its name from the Lancia Fulvia HF coupe, one of the most successful rally cars of the turn of the 1960s and 1970s. The peak of its career came in 1972, when Sandro Munari won the Monte Carlo Rally and the marque took the manufacturers' title. Red on the small, light bodywork of the Fulvia reads saturated and warm, with none of the orange cast of later racing reds. On a model that shows mainly on the sides and the hood, where a warm red holds the shape and does not break up into harsh highlights. Under a gloss coat it then gains a depth comparable to real bodywork.
For modelers of rally and road cars who are building period Italian bodywork and work with an airbrush.
The paint is flammable and gives off solvent vapors. Provide ventilation, a respirator and protection for your eyes and hands.
