A grass green shade listed under the number RAL 6010 from Hataka's Orange Line. RAL is a numbered set of shades with a four-digit designation in which the first digit sorts the shade into a color group; a six at the start means green tones. In it the shade 6010 carries the name grass green, which the name of the item confirms. The number is an advantage: the shade can be looked up even years later and compared with products of other brands no matter what each of them called it.
Thin it with the thinner intended for this line and in the ratio the manufacturer states on the packaging; another thinner can curdle the paint or attack the coats beneath it. Stir the contents thoroughly before use; the pigment settles at the bottom during storage and unstirred paint has a different tone and different coverage. Apply in several thin coats instead of one heavy one; a thin coat preserves fine engraving and does not clog rivets or panel lines.
Deep green shades tend to cover more weakly and on a dark base they go blotchy, so a base coat pays off even when the plastic alone would seem enough. If you need the shade for a larger area, mix it up in advance and all at once. Let the finished paint dry properly, and only then move on to varnish and decals.
Thinner, varnish and the model are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
