IJA No. 21 Midori iro (green) is an acrylic paint from AK interactive, from the 3rd Generation aircraft line. A green shade from the numbered range of the Imperial Japanese Army Air Force.
Responsibility details are not available.
A water-thinnable acrylic paint in a bottle for aircraft models. Green number 21 is the basic upper camouflage tone of the Japanese army range and is used above all where camouflage was applied irregularly, in blotches and bands over a lighter base or over an aluminum surface. It is exactly this way of applying it that decides how the paint should be thinned.
For builders of Japanese aircraft who want the basic green of the upper surfaces after the period number and plan to apply it freehand. Other numbers of the same range follow on from it within the line, so camouflage can be built up from several tones. It is a water-thinnable acrylic, not a lacquer; the shades of the same name in the lacquer line and in marker form are separate products with a different chemistry.
Shake the bottle before work. Spray in a ventilated area and with respiratory protection, keep it closed, away from frost and out of the reach of children.
