Responsibility details are not available.
Tanned Flesh Tone is a modeling acrylic paint from the Abteilung 502 brand. Most modelers know the brand thanks to its oil paints, but this item belongs to the acrylic line: it is thinned with water, dries quickly and the brushes are washed out with water after work. The shade stands for a darker, tanned tone of flesh, that is a complexion suited to figures who work outdoors, to crews in the field, or to telling individual figures in one scene apart.
It is thinned with water or an acrylic thinner, never with mineral spirits or an oil thinner. Shake the bottle before work. Transitions between a lighter and a darker tone are made best in thin, heavily thinned coats, where the shades merge gradually. Acrylic does not mix with the oil line of the same brand, but the two follow on from each other well: acrylic as the base, oil as a glaze from above.
For painters of figures and busts who want graded flesh tones from one line, and for builders of equipment who add a crew to a model. It suits dioramas too, where uniform flesh tones on all the figures are distracting.
Keep out of the reach of children. Ventilate while working, do not eat or drink, and do not pour paint residues down the drain.
