A model paint from the Slovak maker Mr.Paint (MRP). The MRP Aqua line (codes MRP-A0xx) is a water-thinnable acrylic intended for brush and airbrush; unlike the standard MRP lacquer line it is practically odorless. The shade Dark Aluminium is a darker aluminum metallic, which suits places where a pure silver metal would look too new and conspicuous. This is a paint, not a kit.

Use

• Airbrush: the paint is ready to spray, usually without thinning. Apply metallics in thin coats, as a heavy application can emphasize the structure of the pigment.
• Brush: the manufacturer states the Aqua line as suitable for brush and airbrush alike, so small metal details and panels can be done with a brush as well.
• Thinning and cleaning with water, or with the thinner for the Aqua line. Flush the airbrush immediately after you finish spraying.
• Typical use: worn metal surfaces, exhausts, fuselage panels, unprotected duralumin parts, weathered metal details on equipment.
• Combine it with other metal shades, as differing tones on neighboring panels give the surface depth and realistic unevenness.

For modelers of aircraft, military equipment, cars and science fiction who build graded metal surfaces and want a darker, less strident aluminum. Suitable for anyone who prefers water-thinnable acrylics without a solvent smell.

A water-thinnable acrylic. Work in a well-ventilated room and use respiratory protection when airbrushing (atomized paint is inhaled regardless of the type of binder). Keep out of the reach of children and protect from frost. The paint is supplied on its own; thinner and other accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
