Mr.Paint RLM 80 Olivgrün is a water-thinnable acrylic modeling paint from the Aqua line — an olive green Luftwaffe camouflage shade, associated mainly with tropical (desert) schemes and mottled camouflage. Not a kit, but a paint for airbrush and brush.

A water-based acrylic paint from the Aqua line by the Slovak manufacturer Mr.Paint. This is a modeling paint, not a kit — in a dropper bottle, for both airbrush and brush. RLM 80 Olivgrün is a muted olive green that played a different role in the Luftwaffe's palette than the main upper-surface greens.
The best-documented use of RLM 80 is in tropical (desert) schemes — combined with the sandy RLM 79 Sandgelb on upper surfaces over a light blue underside. Aircraft in this coloring flew over North Africa and the Mediterranean, typically Bf 109s of the fighter units stationed there, Ju 87s or Bf 110s. The green was often applied as additional spots and patches over the sandy base, not as a continuous upper surface — which is why it pays to spray it thinned with an airbrush, in a soft transition.
Let's be honest: RLM 80 is less clear-cut among researchers than the main camouflage shades. Sources disagree in particular on how much it was used in the late war period and exactly what the shade looked like on specific aircraft. Check the exact period assignment for your model against documentation for your specific subject — here we state only what is reliably documented.
For modelers of Luftwaffe aircraft in tropical finish and for those building a palette of German camouflage shades in water-based acrylic.
A modeling paint, not a kit. Ventilate and protect your airways when spraying; keep out of the reach of children.
