A water-thinnable acrylic paint of 17 ml from the AIR aviation range. RLM 66 (1938) is a dark gray to gray-black tone in the earlier variant. The paint has a matte finish, sprays like a lacquer and is ready for the airbrush, while being thinned with water or AK acrylic thinner; it is non-toxic and non-flammable.
RLM 66 Schwarzgrau became the key interior color of German aircraft. It was used on cockpits, instrument panels and internal equipment, and also on anti-glare panels and parts of night fighters. The version marked with the year 1938 corresponds to the earlier reference mix of this dark tone.
