Responsibility details are not available.
A modeling paint from the Orange Line range of the brand Hataka. The abbreviation S.C.C. belongs to the British wartime system of camouflage shades for ground machinery, and the number after it identifies a shade unambiguously. S.C.C. No. 2 is a khaki brown, that is a muted brown tone with a cast toward green, by which British vehicles are described to this day and by which a modeler can look the paint up across brands.
It suits single-color coats of British and Allied ground machinery from the period of the Second World War and just as well the small things around a vehicle: crates, barrels, jerrycans, crew equipment and shelter quarters for a diorama. A khaki brown is a rewarding ground for later work with shadows and with dust, because both drybrushing and lighter filters show on it at once. Always judge the match of a shade on a sprayed and dried sample, not by the paint in the bottle; after drying and after being covered with varnish the tone shifts noticeably.
The paint alone is supplied. A model, thinner, brushes and varnishes are not included in the supply, unless stated otherwise.
