Tamiya X-31 Titanium Gold - a metallic gold acrylic paint, 23 ml

A modeling paint in a 23 ml bottle from Tamiya, from the gloss X range. It is an acrylic metallic paint based on water-thinnable acrylic resins with a warm metallic sheen in a titanium gold shade. It is thinned with Tamiya X-20A acrylic thinner. The metallic pigment settles at the bottom, so stir the paint thoroughly before and during the work.

Use

• Gold gloss surfaces and detail - decorative elements, accessories, motorcycles, car bodies.
• A metallic comes into its own best on a smooth, ideally glossy surface.
• It is thinned with X-20A acrylic thinner (do not confuse it with the enamel X-20 without the letter A).
• Stir the paint thoroughly before use and during it, so that the pigment does not separate.
• Metallics are harder to mask and to overspray, so apply them rather at the end of the build.

Who it is for

For modelers who need a saturated metallic gold shade for the brush as well as the airbrush. A note: Tamiya carries the same shade numbers in the enamel range as well, so check that you are buying the acrylic bottle thinned with X-20A.
