Metal pitot tube for the Convair B-58 Hustler 1:144

A turned metal pitot boom for a model of the American supersonic bomber Convair B-58 Hustler in 1:144 scale. It replaces the plastic tube of the kit with a stronger and more accurate metal part.

The long slender pitot on the nose of the B-58 is very prone to bending in plastic. The lathe-turned metal version keeps its straight shape and fine detail. You cut off the original part and glue the metal replacement in its place.
