This is a set of turned metal detail parts from the Polish manufacturer MASTER — barrels for Hispano 20 mm cannons and Browning 12.7 mm machine guns in fairings, for a model of the Supermarine Spitfire fighter with the E wing in the early version with conical fairings, 1:144 scale. It is not a model of the aircraft but a more accurate replacement for the plastic parts.
The E wing combined two Hispano 20 mm cannons and two Browning 12.7 mm heavy machine guns. The early version had conically shaped barrel fairings. The set captures the shape of the gun muzzles faithfully.
Cut off the original plastic barrels and clean up the leading edges. Seat the metal parts and fix them with cyanoacrylate. In 1:144 scale the parts are very small — work with tweezers. Apply a primer before painting.
The accessory is supplied unpainted. Paints, glue and the base model are not included in the package.
